GUIDE AND EXPECTATIONS OF THE FUSION NET NET CONTROL OPERATORS

1. ALL NET CONTROL OPERATORS MUST USE A YAESU SYSTEM FUSION RADIO ON THE WIRES-X NETWORK TO CONDUCT THE FUSION NET. ABSOLUTY NO USING HOTSPOTS SUCH AS OPENSPOT ,ZUMSPOT ,NANOSPOT OR ANY OTHERS. THIS MEAN YOU ARE USING ONLY WIRES-X. NOT A YAESU RADIO INTO YSF OR ANY OTHER MODE.
THIS IS A PRIORITY. NO EXCEPTIONS

 

2. As NCO you must continually let all participants know about the three (3) second standard for all the links to catch up and close properly (every chance you get).

 

3. QUESTIONS AND TOPICS OF DISCUSSION: should be in no later than the Monday before your scheduled net (THIS IS NOT THE DUE DATE) It should be in well before this time.

 

4. As NCO you are in charge of the NETLOGGER program. you can have some one log for you, however it is up to you to update the website. (IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE RIGHT AFTER THE NET BUT BY FRIDAY EVENING WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE). NETLOGGER, The Joke of the Week,Check-ins & Stats as well and email them to FUSION@THEFUSIONNET.COM.

 

5. Depending how the net is running call for check-ins every half hour to 40 min. (give or take). THE FUSION NET begins at 8:25pm ET to clear the frequency for early bird check-ins at 8:30pm ET, Take Early Bird Check-ins to 9:pm ET at 9:pm ET the net officially begins.
The net will end to no earlier than 11:pm ET. NO EXCEPTIONS. it is NCO duty to stretch/fill the time in. (If it carries on later great, keep it going).

 

6. The point of the text messaging during the net is to make correction to the hosting NCO of the night during the Net.
